Philippines Cars Sales in Q3 2016

Philippines Cars Sales in Q3 2016 kept the double figures pace, positively influenced by the new government’s policies. Toyota led again the market with a huge gap over Mitsubishi, Ford and Hyundai.

Market Outlook

The Philippines’ growth momentum likely carried over into Q3 on the back of buoyant domestic demand again, after the impressive performance in the second quarter. Private consumption is being supported by both strong remittance inflows and upbeat consumer confidence—which has been positively influenced by the perception of improved peace and order stemming from the new government’s policies.
