Czech Republic Autos sales in 2017 hit the new all time record both in cars and lcvs segment, keeping an amazing series of records. Skoda takes the 30% plus market share with new SUV Karoq already in the top ten. Toyota was the star of the year, up 45%.

Czech vehicles market is hitting a record each year. Since the 2012 the annual car passenger’s volume grew up from 174.128 to 259.066 in the 2016 and in the 2017 it was established the new all time record again. Indeed, according to the data released by S.D.A. the Association of Car Manufacturers, car passengers figures have been 271.595 (+4.8%) while light commercial vehicles sales have been 19.411 (+1.4%) both at record level.

At brand-wise, Skoda in 2017 underperformed the industry with 84.138 units sold (+2.3%) and 31.1% of market share.

In second place, Volkswagen sold 26.942 units (+1.3%) followed by Hyundai with 21.420 (+2.0%), Ford with 16.646 (+9.0%), Dacia with 14.498 (+17.1%) and Renault with 11.224 (+10.1%).
