Russia best selling car ranking in 2021 sees the Lada Vesta in first position followed by the Lada Granta and the Kia Rio. Remarkable performance scored by the Gaz Gazelle ending up in 7th place.
The Russian brand Lada has placed 2 models on the podium, and 3 in the top 10. Indeed, in 2021 the Lada Vesta is the new market leader, with 113,698 sales (7.2% market share), ahead of the Lada Granta, which reported 111,430 units sold (7.1% market share). Closing the podium, we find the Kia Rio selling 82,941 units (5.3% share).
The 4th place was held by the Hyundai Creta at 68,081 sales (4.3% share), followed by the Hyundai Solaris -up 1 spot-, and the fast-growing Chevrolet Niva -up 19 spots-, with 68,081 units (3.9% share) and 51,239 units (3.3% share) respectively.
In 7th place we have the Gaz Gazelle –up 41 spots- with 47,032 units (3% share), followed by the Volkswagen Polo -down 3 spots- with 46,887 units sold (3% share), and the Lada Largus -down 2 spots- with 42,272 units (2.7% share).
In 10th place we have the Skoda Rapid falling 1 spot with 41,680 sales, holding 2.7% share.
