Serbia: Hyundai at best share in Europe.

Serbian car market negative momentum continued in November 2013 when total cars sold have been 1.648, down 10.4% from last year. Year to date sales were 20.094, down 8.2%. The last was the 5th year-on-year loss in a row.

Looking at the top brands performance:

Fiat maintained the leadership and a share very similar to that achieved in Italy, the other “domestic” market in Europe. Last month sales had been 379 while cumulated figures were 4.164 for a share of 20.7%, up 6.5 points from last year, before Fiat 500L production start.

Skoda in second place sold 314 vehicles with share at 18.3%, down 4.7 points of share from the previous month, which was really outstanding. Year-to-date sales were 3.374 with a share of 16.7%, up 1.1 points from full year 2012.

Hyundai consolidated its third place, gained in October also at cumulated level, selling 194 cars with a share of 11.3%, up 0.8 points of share from the previous month. Year-to-date sales were 1.715 with a share of 8.5%, up 0.6 points from last year. Hyundai share is actually the best in Europe.

Renault soared in 4th place, up 5 spots, with 122 registrations and 7.1% of share, up 3.6 points from October. Year to date Renault was 8th with 903 sales and 4.5% of share, down 0.8 points from last year.

Volkswagen was fifth with 90 sales and a share of 5.2%, up 0.7 points from the previous month. Year-to-date it was 4th with 1.364 sales and 6.8% of share, down 1.4 points from last year.
