November 2014 Singapore Car Sales boomed 80 percent with Mazda landed in third place, thanks to the success of last generation Mazda3 and Mazda6. Despite scoring a growth below the average, Toyota kept the leadership.

In November 2014 according to data released by Singapore Bureau of Statistics, the total light passenger vehicles sold have been 2.931 again a roaring performance that improved last year figures by 79.7%, posting the 6th year on year growth in a string.

Year-to-date November sales in Singapore have been 25.808, up 26.7% from one year ago.

Toyota kept the leadership selling 517 vehicles improving 51.2% from the correspondent month last year and was few units ahead of Mercedes, second with 422 sales, +56.3%.

However the great surprise last month was represented by the jump of Mazda, which benefit from last generation Mazda3 and Mazda6 sales to outpace many competitors and land in third place with 262 sales, +322.6%.

Even the fourth, Honda, posted a big jump, selling 256 units, +848.1% from year ago.

Looking at the report on Car Groups, the September leader was Toyota with 19.7% of market share, ahead of Daimler with 15.6% and BMW with 14%.
