Sweden Cars Sales up and up!

Sweden Cars Sales

Sweden Cars Sales in June 2016 on the sky hitting the 30th consecutive year on year increase in a string. June hit a new record and the speed remains at the best ever level despite the long period of growth.

Market Outlook

Strong domestic demand, supported by loose monetary policy, helped propel the economy last year. This year, however, growth slowed due to a number of factors, particularly the limited housing supply, which is impacting everything from labor supply to household debt. Some companies have complained that Sweden’s expensive and tightly regulated housing market is making it difficult to find employees.

Meantime, the Swedish cars industry kept the pace in June, recording the best sales volume in the first half on 2016.

According to data released by the BIL Sweden, the Swedish Associations of Car Manufacturers, in June the new cars passenger sold had been 36.291, up 12.5%, reaching the 30th consecutive month Y.o.Y. growth in a row.

During the first half of the year, the total vehicles sold had been 187.575, up 11.7% compared to the same period of the 2015.
