Turkey February. No steps forward for the market, down 47.1%

Turkish Autos Market saw no improvement in February with sales down an awful 47.1% and 24.875 units. Renault, overtaken by Fiat - the new market leader - performed poorly (-53.3%).  While, Volkswagen (-45.4%) entered the podium overtaking Ford (-47.9%).

World Car Group Ranking at the end of 2017 led by Volkswagen with 10.6 million units ahead of Toyota and Renault-Nissan. American brands are the losers, while Japanese are winners. The best performance, however, was the Chinese Geely, up 35% and the worst is Hyundai.

Algerian Car Market in 2013 hit new all-time record. Peugeot market leader.

December 2013 roared in Algeria as car market boomed 52% from the previous year. The year ended with new volume record and for the first time above the 400.000 units. Although low sales in the second half, Peugeot outpaced Renault becoming the new market leader.

Algeria: August car market fell as Renault compound was empty!
