Thailand Best Selling Cars ranking from 2024 with the Toyota Hilux as new market leader despite losing 27.2% in volume. The Toyota Yaris Ativ enters 4th rising 163.8% in sales.
In the following article we are going to analyse the best selling cars in Thailand looking at cumulative sales up to June 2024.
The Thai Automotive industry is still the global hub for mid size pick ups, being the type of vehicle preferred by locals in years. This trend is confirmed by the Toyota Hilux leading the rankings -up 1 spot- with 48,135 cumulative registrations (-27.2%), followed closely by the Isuzu D-MAx with 41,865 sales (-47.9%).
The passenger car Toyota Yaris Ativ maintained 3rd spot reporting 26,641 sales (-12.1%), followed by the Toyota Yaris at 24,918 (+163.8%) and the Honda City with 19,657 units sold (-26.0%).
In 6th place ranked the Honda HR-V with 13,890 sales (+2.8%) ahead of the Toyota Corolla with 10,803 registrations (-22.8%) and the Ford Ranger -down 3 spots- with 10,628 units sold (-37.3%).
The Toyota Fortuner fell 3 spots into 9th with 8,866 sales (-42.9%) and in 10th place the Isuzu Mu-X fell 1 spot with 8,866 units sold (-45.1%).
