In 2018 the Global Light Vehicles (cars plus light commercial vehicles) sales have been 88.9 million (final data), down 1.1 million from the previous year.
The table below is reporting the ranking of the Top 50 markets, from China to Macedonia. The Top 10 markets ranking slightly changed from the previous year, with Brazil (+13.8%) and Japan (+6.5%) as best performers. In 12th place Russia kept recovering.
Among the fastest-growing markets we must point out Chile, 27th and up 15%, Vietnam, 35th and up 15%, Egypt, 41st and soaring 40.1%, Uzbekistan, 42rd and up 44.2%. Impressive performances scored also Hungary, 47th and up 17.4%, Romania, 48th and up 24.6%.

This report is done utilizing data extracted from our GAD (Global Auto Database) the wider Auto Sales Database actually existing in the World, with sales data by region/area/country broken down by type/size/body-style/brand/model from January 2010 to the last month. Data are collected by over 300 sources, including all the official providers (local Minister of Transportations or Associations of car Manufacturers).
